The Department of Economics organises the seminar “Cross-national Perspectives in Accounting Studies and Practices” on 20 October 2025 (9:00–11:00, Aula Magna 1). Following the greetings by Prof. Gustavo Barresi, Head of the Department, the discussion - moderated by Prof. Carmelo Marisca - will feature distinguished contributions from Prof. Karen McBride (University of Portsmouth), Prof. Ivan Paul Grixti (University of Malta), and Prof. Daniela Rupo (University of Messina). The seminar will explore how different academic and professional traditions shape accounting research, education, and practice across countries, fostering comparative insights and international collaboration. All are welcome to participate.
